【3】 Röa lóranë mi salquecolca quanta þardenen, yá cuitaner se yaccúmë, i mittaner lumbë ar maitë i restassë mólello.
► A Dog asleep in a manger filled with hay, was awakened by the Cattle, which came in tired and hungry from working in the field.
¶ Mal i Röa únë lavë ten analelya i salquecolca, ar yarranë ar narcunë vequi sa nánë quanta aryë hráveo ar axoron, ilqua insen.
► But the Dog would not let them get near the manger, and snarled and snapped as if it were filled with the best of meat and bones, all for himself.
【4】 I yaccúmë tirner i Röa feuyala.
► The Cattle looked at the Dog in disgust.
¶ “Tallë milca nás!” equë mo.
► "How selfish he is!" said one.
¶ “Uissë polë matë i þardë, mal úvas lavë matë sa elmen, i nár tallë maitë san!”
► "He cannot eat the hay and yet he will not let us eat it who are so hungry for it!"
【5】 Sí i cemendur mittanë.
► Now the farmer came in.
¶ Yá cennes yallë i Röa cáranë, nampes olba ar ?? se et yaccatumpollo hriminen palpion milca lengaleryan.
► When he saw how the Dog was acting, he seized a stick and drove him out of the stable with many a blow for his selfish behavior.
