Mal laca aitanë i ??, í Nér yesentë þusta mulesseo tolporyanna.              But much to the Satyr's surprise, the Man began to blow into his bowl of porridge.
7 “Maro carilyë ta?” maquentes.      "Why do you do that?" he asked.
8 “Ringatiën mulessenya,” hanquentë i Nér.        "To cool my porridge," replied the Man.
9 I ?? campë lintië taluryassë ar mennë i fennanna.           The Satyr sprang hurriedly to his feet and made for the door.
10 “Namárië,” eques, “Faren ecéniën.        "Goodby," he said, "I've seen enough.
Mon ye þusta lauca ar ringa imba föanen ui ecë ná málo onyë!”              A fellow that blows hot and cold in the same breath cannot be friends with me!"
