1	Nolpa ar Amilya	  	The Mole & his Mother

3	Vinya Nolpa néya quentë Amilyan:	     	A little Mole once said to his Mother:
4	“É, Amya, quentelyë i nanyë lomba! Mal nanyë tanca i polin cenë!”	             	"Why, Mother, you said I was blind! But I am sure I can see!"
5	Amil Nolpa hanyanë i möa sen haita taitë imbalatë et caryallo.	           	Mother Mole saw she would have to get such conceit out of his head.
	Epetai sestanes aranisqueo nihta pó hye ar iquiryas hyen quetë mana ná.	            	So she put a bit of frankincense before him and asked him to tell what it was.
6	I vinya Nolpa tihtanë sanna.	     	The little Mole peered at it.
7	“É, ta ná sarnincë!”	    	"Why, that's a pebble!"
8	“Ela, yonyo, ta iltana i oróviëtyë nustetya ara ná lomba.”	            	"Well, my son, that proves you've lost your sense of smell as well as being blind."
