【3】 Uma ressë lan Rauro patanë valateä ter tauressë tië, ar i celvar taliénen varner sen, Pellopë holtunë yaiwë yá mennes arë.
► One day as the Lion walked proudly down a forest aisle, and the animals respectfully made way for him, an Ass brayed a scornful remark as he passed.
【4】 I Rauro fellë rúþello íta.
► The Lion felt a flash of anger.
¶ Mal yá quernes carya ar cennes ye quétiénë, patanes enera rua.
► But when he turned his head and saw who had spoken, he walked quietly on.
¶ É únes yesta laita i aut éta palpenen raccaryaron.
► He would not honor the fool with even so much as a stroke of his claws.
